Reddit Sues Anthropic Over Alleged Unauthorized Data Scraping for AI Training

Reddit has filed a lawsuit against Anthropic, accusing the AI firm of scraping its platform without permission to train the Claude AI model. The complaint, lodged in a U.S. federal court, claims Anthropic violated Reddit's user agreement and accessed its servers over 100,000 times after publicly stating it had stopped such activity in July 2024.
